Hi, my name is Roya and I am a physiotherapist who enjoys supporting and empowering people to move with more joy and confidence.
Since graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Newcastle in 2007, I have worked across a variety of areas in hospital, community health, school and private practice settings. I moved to the South Coast in 2016 after living and working in Fiji for a few years. Over the last five years I have completed postgraduate training and developed a particular interest in women's health. This includes supporting women with incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis rectus abdominis, pelvic pain and exercise during pregnancy and postpartum. I am passionate about listening to your story and working together to find strategies to keep you doing the things you love.
I also enjoy working together with other health and fitness professionals, both locally and as a teaching assistant on The Female Athlete courses with Antony Lo. Outside of my work as a physio, I love being outdoors with my family and chatting over cups of tea.
